No Hibs, it was not. We must be taught to know our place. Like beggars at a soup kitchen, no one listens when we moan that we don't like potato soup we'd rather have tomato. Who are we to complain?

Absolute superstar! Must be one of the best if not the best miler ever to race in south africa, well done to all concerned, now lift these protocols and bans on exporting our horses and the world will see more south african bred champions, its amazing what these horses go through and still come out on top, mike de kock is just a genius and anton marcus the ultimate professional. Congratulations.

and how much of a marketing tool would it have been to promo the race a week before instead we see soccer 25 and rugby 6 on a channel built on the funds of Horse Racing

I really hope the big boys of racing get stuck into the management of Tellytrack ( unless they support the lack of marketing of our superb SA horseflesh) :S
It's like watching dumb and dumber :X

The easiest thing to market is patriotism..................1 SA horse competing successfully internationally would do more to promote the industry than 50 drunken hat and fashion show meetings.......................but this clueless bunch of clowns couldn't sell iced drinks in the desert!
First of all ,advertise the race everywhere OTHER than Tellytrack (why preach to the converted FFS) and once the hype is created ,show the F&^%$&^ Race!
(BTW there was a press release stating that Hong Kong racing had agreed to the broadcast of their product ,so it had to be a "P" decision!)
