On the dubai link it appeared to be live? the race was off at 4:36pm.
Perhaps I was not looking properly

Maybe I was lucky. The Mauritius race was off at 10:30 and The race must have been shown 1 or 2 minutes after the race was run. Anton was still about to weigh in when they went to the weighing room after we had seen the race.

Thanks Hibs for posting the link... Absolute disgrace that this was not available live for all to see.... And not just on channel 23WTF9
What a racehorse, what a ride and what a race .... Congrats to all the connections, Mike De Kock and Joey Ramsden
If ever there was a time to market our horses and horse racing both locally and abroad it must be now, so many great stories to tell....VC should win sportsman of the year and Mike De Kock "coach" of the year both by 4 lengths going away. Congrats too to Derek Brugman who has made an astounding difference since taking over as racing manager... In fact you can add team of the year to the awards

Thanks for the link Hibs.
But ... there's a big difference between watching when the result is in and watching when the result does't even exist. Later lacks that breathless excitement, "Will he, won't he? Can he, can't he?" It's nice, but ... not the same experience at all.
That's what we are all complaining about (well, it's what I'm complaining about!!) ... that we've been deprived of that breathlessness, that painful waiting, then that punch of the air, that yell of delight and joy and pride. These need to be immediate, they only happen once. Later is too late.
