If you take that 5th race ............most runners had at least a 10 length variance in what they might produce!!

Just rate the runs on this race alone and it's a strong case for scrapping both sand tracks and replacing with Polytrack!(or similar)

So Pylon ran unplaced in his last run in SA, going to go to Dubai to race, presumably on those sand surfaces there????

Either the owners know something or they don't like money

Yip not a great run - but the thinking is (as the trainer said after Die Kat's win) that P 'only gets going after 1600' and that there is not enough races on the sand over 1600 + to keep him here - I think they were just unlucky from a timing perspective with him - probably was at his best last year and should have gone then, but there was only Tapeta in Dubai; still he is only 5 and worth taking the chance imo (tu)

Back to the race, Jet Jamboree really is an impressive looker - and with Shadow Line seemingly gone 'wrong' again, must be on track to take on Uncle Tommy for the title of the 'best sand horse in SA' - as for Formation, I think those stallions are calling (tu)
