I think what Daverck is trying to state that people who have the top jobs at Phumelala don't have the necessary qualifications but are rather token appointments.

Maybe...but are those the OP has quoted the best for the job or did they get their posts due to who they knew...was the post advertised, applicants vetted and the most qualified afforded the opportunity or was it a band of brothers scratching each others back ??
And, when there are failures in performance (as many other Clanners seem to post regularly), what are the consequences, if any, or do the same group close ranks to protect one of their own ??

Mr L, as you would have heard the minister call our national team losers, may b right maybe wrong.
Just remeber this, when Mr Amla, got into the national side, most were sceptical, and many said he didnt deserve to be there. On many occasions this with was mentioned, by an english commentator. He became no 1 in the world. He just needed the opportunity, never mind he was the u 19 captian.
New ideas, new thoughts, thats what is needed. Take the plunge, and then give them the tools to operate.
For those that are afriad of change, go read the book, "who ate my cheese" i think its called

I have been vocal as anyone critisizing anyone i could, but you would have to go along way before you could get better guys for the jobs they are in than Basel,Hawkins and Moodley.
Ask the Vaal trainers if they are unhappy with Clyde getting them a bar for the emerald cup
Or the Durban trainers if GH is nothing but a help to them
Dave i need your contact details to be posted on this thread if you intend to make posts like this...
I suspect this is actually a piss take trying to cause shit on abc

DAVE...if you have a masters and you write the grammar you do as in your first post buddy....then I would not worry so much about the horse racing industry...I WOULD WORRY ABOUT OUR DAMN EDUCATION SYSTEM WHICH IS ONE OF THE LOWEST IN THE WORLD!!!

The problem in South Africa is people playing the "race card" to often. If the original post never mentioned any race but rather incompetency and lack of qualifications would the post have stood ?
On a lighter note any company with more than 50 employees needs to have an Employment Equity Plan

Sad that we came from an era divided by race classification and rather than making that secondary to competence, qualifications, etc, the powers that be insist on using it as the pre-eminent determinant in almost all aspects of society...
Is this the world / country we bequeath to our children ?? I'm fast approaching the point of packing it in...even though my blood is green, to remain in SA would be to severely handicap the future / limit the opportunities of my daughter...
