Must I say it again...Legislate is a MACHINE...if Fourie doesn't panic and send him too soon...he will run past this field like they are standing still!! Don't get too technical on weights and previous runs...horses do not run on paper!!! Legislate is a serious racehorse and if anything can challenge him due to incidents in the race, then Louis will pick up the pieces!! REMEMBER THIS POST!!! Good luck boys!! ()(tu)-DX(

TM...Woodruff knows himself...there is NO horse in this field that can accelerate and turn it on like Legislate can...whether there is a pace or not doesn't affect Legislate at all! He is the kind of horse that when you push the button he responds immediately!! Richard needs to hold him up...he can push the button at the 300m marker and he will accelerate past them like he was thrown into the race at the 400m mark! Louis is a serious horse, and the only threat to Legislate...he has the heart and the guts and the last thing Legislate wants is to go eyeball to eyeball over 300m with him...Louis will break him down...if Richard waits for the right time to send Legislate...he will run Louis off his feet and Louis will be coming at him in the final strides!! Guys...this horse Legislate is one of the best horses Snaith has ever had...it is the best horse Fourie has EVER ridden...don't take those words lightly!! -)o

Good point Madji - and from the draw he will need to be off them tough task imo. Noordhoek no one disputes Legislate is a top horse as he wasn't fav for nothing but blinder is a different story. Imo whatever beats Louis the King deserves to win.

CnC - The 2 horses I liked on Saturday both ran 2nd...the Snaith horse in the 1st...very disappointing...but then again you have workriders and anything can happen...as for Power King...well we ALL know how difficult it is to win a Triple Crown...but Power King was my "emotional bet"...Dynastic Power was always going to be a serious runner over that distance. I am not sure Power King stayed...follow them both next year as 4 year olds...both top top horses!! ()

That will be the stable horse with Marcus aboard. I am not a fan of Shea.

I am not a tipster CnC...but when I see a MACHINE in action...I know one!!!() Guys are worrying about 1kg or 2kg...with all due respect to everyone on this forum...the distance that Legislate won the Daily News by flattered every single horse behind him!! Fourie could have won by 4 if he wanted...and maybe fell asleep the last 100m...but he won't make that same mistake again! Of course after saying all of this...luck in running counts...but if all is fair and square...IT IS TICKETS AND TAX!! ()(tu)
