No too many cape horses here must be a limit for them, or we gonna have cape crawl every year there must be a limit to the amount of foreigners allowed just gonna lead to false results

There were more Joburg horses than Cape horses in the race...you can't blame the Cape boys on this one Craig!!

Dude, were the Cape horses dictating the pace?? :S
No horse wanted to lead... What has too many Cape horses got to do with it?

it seems to me that the course played a huge part - so tight and it's easy to say nobody wanted to set the pace but it is difficult to set a strong pace if you are boxed in and cannot get out - for me that was the worst July I've watched and with a smaller field you'd expect more runners to have a chance but in fact most were already gone after the first bend - I'm afraid the Met is a fairer race as is the B Div Summer Cup

I was screaming at Delpech to let Espumanti run.....I think he strangled her in the first 400metres and she was finished after that. I did not back her but it was obvious he was ruining her chances.

So is it Justin's fault that WH hung onto his horse for the last 50m of that race? Is it his fault that Fourie was hanging off his horse because WH was boring into him ? Read the rules before you make such comments and realize that a Race Review was called by the Stipes before Fourie had even unsaddled and made his objection. And it is the Connections RIGHT to object if they think their horse was impeded - It is then up to the stipes to decide if it was fair or not - There is not one owner or Trainer or Jockey in the Country that would not have objected if they were in similar situations -

They were not going to listen to Justin all year
Would the same decision been made if Marwing ran second and objected

yes without a doubt - Look at the race without bias- Read the Rules on the NHRA site and then you will have your answer(If you watch the race look at the horse in the white or yellow colours directly behind WH - that horse keeps a straight path - and you will see how far towards the outside WH drifts onto Legislate over the last 50m - Then watch Fourie sitting way to the right on the saddle as WH continues to intimidate him and unbalance his horse)

If the horse ,trainer and jockey were changed around the result would still have been changed. You are having a go at the integrity of the stipe's so I think this is one of the reasons real names should be used.
