Both Gates and Buffet are giving away most of their money to Charity

In June 2006, he announced a plan to give away his fortune to charity, with 83% of it going to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.[118] He pledged about the equivalent of 10 million Berkshire Hathaway Class B shares to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (worth approximately US$30.7 billion as of June 23, 2006),[119] making it the largest charitable donation in history, and Buffett one of the leaders of philanthrocapitalism.

Please do read my comment again... I am offcourse 100% aware of the money BG and WB gives to charity each year... I was never questioning their generosity and sense of sharing.

i don't understand what you are saying and obviously neither does Chicken - Explain what Gates and Buffett have to do with tipping?

You say they don't give a shit about other people and sharing - Now what does that mean? I have read many articles by Buffett where he tells people what he thinks future investments might be worth pursuing. I just don't get it at all

"That's if you a Bill Gates or Warren Buffett but does not give a shit about other people and don't like sharing..sure there's many of those personalities

In other words some People on this forum might not be as rich as Bill Gates , not as generous & does not like sharing...

Horseracing is an entertainment industry where maybe not even 5% of the punting public makes money out of it but the losers with their cash flush pockets that keeps fueling their needs also fuels an industry of billions of €€€€...not even John Sweet or Matthew Stevens could be making money out of it BUT they might teach you how to lose less in your addiction and a subscription might just save you soms money....as stated earlier their are different levels of competence, decision making ability...you just need to be honest with yourself finding out what's you're...each to their own

Agree there are good tipsters. But they give so much info, you cant take every imaginable bet. When they have a good result on the day, they advertise it, but forget to tell the public about the 9 trifectas and quartets they did not catch. Or the 22 p/a's they have lost in a row.

I can sleep when chucking my own money away. I will hate myself following tips and chucking money away. I have previously subscribed to one guy only. I think he is very good. But the fact that I did not know which bet would be the one for that specific day, made me cancel my subscription.

I also asked him specifically to say what he thought was thee best way to punt, and he could not specify any one bet on any given day. Credit to him for his openness, but did not help me at all..

Personal choice I believe

The guys on here are good. The discussions are great. More people should aair their views on this forum. It definitely helps one make a decision. Often I have a particular view after studying, but the combined effort of those who take the time to post their views and share, have convinced me to include a horse I would have left out, or even a jockey I did not like.

So I look forward to seeing even more contributions on racedays.

Can someone please explain what these tipsters mean by "Bonus PA" won X amount and "Bonus Jackpot" won X amount.

What are these "Bonuses"?

Thanks
