I like Benbow at the weights - like the price as well

Race 3:

I've taken places on Rolling Ruby at 14-10.

Best run this c & d with Strydom riding when 2nd.

Two starts back was staying on nicely over 1450m and last start raced too freely early before fading when tried over 1800m.

Back to 1600m and back to Strydom should mean a place.

Alverta has strong turf form and would likely win if handling the surface.

Hoping for a big run from MASTER ENTERTAINER. .... I DON'T Think he was unduly extended last time, and I'm hoping Gunther can bring home the bacon. :P

I backed her 07-22 and ran like a dog but maybe shes working better, but for three places would only back her 5/2 upwards
But with Strydom riding you wont ever get that odds

Englander, sorry about the link not opening. Don't worry too much about the breeding, Sarve will win by a couple... I'm trying to be positive ;)

Good luck to the owners of Master Entertainer, fantastic win last time out and I believe strongly he can repeat tomorrow. Just as a caution though IF True Arrogance takes to the surface it will be all over as a race, this I can assure you (Just being positive again) no arrogance, lol.

Good luck to all tomorrow!

Winning post we on the same train for tomorrow bud. Sarve full brother bad idea has been brilliant on sand.

I cannot believe we are getting 3/1 on Nigel Mansell. My pick for Emerald cup. Making it a 5 leg pick 6 for me and that is also the double I will be playing quite strongly.

Good luck Frodo and Elvis tomorrow. Also think ME should hold all those previously raced although there do seem some lurkers and for me it's Waikato.
I didn't choose the #puntlife, the #puntlife chose me!

mdk might be trying to qualify Nigel mansel for the emerald cup since he's rating is a bit low so a question to the handicap fundis wat will NM rating be if he smokes uncle Tommy nd jet jamboree by 5lengths

R1 R0.5 mil horse with strong positive breeding indicators representing the Van Vuuren/Lerena combo (over 30% win combo) from hopefully a decent high draw, can't oppose Winter Al. Crown Bearer has put in some respectable sand runs and on 3rd run after a lengthy rest could go close though I have a nag that stablemate Maliko Bay could be something of a shock improver. Ride Of Honour another who might go better than the price suggests.

R2 Another poor draw for Johnny Chestnut but despite that I think Lerena will bring up an early doors double. Tripswitch, like lto, might not be far behind and Olympic Bolt to challenge.

R3 Alverta has improved on the turf since being upped in d despite some poor draws. A positive in the breeding suggests she could take to the surface and bring up an early doors Lerena treble. In this field, back under Striker from a decent draw, Rolling Ruby might take advantage if the fav fluffs her lines. Chadderton could improve from the 1 box for a place and Grand Cru the R1 complete nutter.

Remainder of the card looks highly competitive with plenty possibles, definitely not going through them all lol

R4 Will nibble Barefoot Lady if she drifts. Bold Flash possibly the best value with Slick Deputy and Super Guppy likely to be thereabouts. Not normally a fan of following one coming out of the maidens but the final vote goes to Lizzie's Legs who was well supported on sand debut, represents the Zaki/Lerena combo and could bring up an early doors 4 timer for the jock.

R5 Strong breeding indicator for Isphan and some fair decent turf runs gets him my vote but big respect for Salute The Sun. Far from a two horse race though, I've gone with Lor Hawke for the trifecta spot but one of those races where a case could be made for pretty much the whole field.

R6 Hunch says go with Nigel Mansell but huge respect for Jet Jamboree and Uncle Tommy.

R7 I like perfect trip here with his draw advantage giving him the vote over Chedwin Park and Son of Approval. Microstate showed little in previous sand efforts but they came at a time when his overall form was poor so no surprise if he comes home here. Raise The Red also not to be overlooked on sand debut with Lerena up but no positive indicator in the breeding.

R8 Another where a case could be made for many in the field. Will have a hope they win it bet on Elvis and Frodo's Master Entertainer and have him for a place but I have the slightest of slight preferences for Eternity and Estancia. Also possible in this field that none of them place.

R9 I quite like the chances of The Angelus again here but she is on the "dreaded" 4-timer. If she fails may be worth going for value with Lerena to complete, what I hope will be, a very good day for him, in the 1 box on Beautiful Dawn. Knock Knock and Sibyl to be in the vicinity.

Be(s)t of luck to all
