Anybody know where to find the correct stats? Appears that Fanie Chambers only ever rides one horse for Tarry, and that is Mouseketeer. Surely if that is the case, he must be a bog runner everytime.
Looks good value to me today
All the best to Frodo and oom Elvis with their entertainer today
My outsider for today is For Gia. Ran 2x on the sand and after a decent debut over 1450 finished faaaar behind over 1600. Maybe the 1450 suits her better? Worth e/w bet

If Midnight Run takes to the sand surface would have to be a serious contender in the Emerald Cup...

I lost all respect for Fanie when he got The Mousketeer to dwell at the start in the race won by Spies's Tommy Gun
wont back that guy ever

Apologies Tim cos I feel you are right.
The formline 05-27 1600m (the one I looked at when deciding to back Rolling Ruby ) has influenced my thinking that Beautiful Dawn R9 must be a very good place bet.
Look at some swingers with The Angelus as well

I enjoyed that comment Colors. That is exactly how I feel about the riding skills of the great King karl. Whenever his much fancied mount fails to produce, you cab be sure he dwelled at the start.
Fanie is capable jock in my eyes. I suppose I will have to take my chances. Like I regretfully sometimes do with King KArl (to my utmost disgust in most cases)
All the best anyway

Another bit of madness: Crown Bearer must have been something ggo do Tarry's view last year. Ran in Fillies Nursery. Then respectable last run before the long break over c&d behind Arcetri Pink.
Now 3rd run after a rest. 2 very good runs under the skirt.
I think the horse should be 9/10 in this field, I don't care how good the Van Vuuren/Lerens combo is or how high their strike rate is.
66/10 on HWood at the moment. Time for the balls against the wall!

Not sure that is madness Haupie, think CB must have decent claims. What I would say is I doubt you would last long as a bookie if you marked it up at 9/10, would love to see the prices you offered for Winter Al and Sarve if that were the case! Definitely not saying CB won't win but, certainly pre-knowledge of trainer comments, I think the prices you would then have to offer for the other two would be very tempting!!
