Scotlands yes/no vote
10 years 9 months ago
Westminster is kaking itself that its going to be a yes vote for Scottish `Independence on the 18th and they are now promising more powers for Scotland if its a No vote. The polls give it to the Yes vote for now and I expect every politician from down south to be in Scotland over the next 10 days trying to convince voters to vote No. I, like many others am undecided of which way to vote. If its a Yes vote then technically all the Scots living in England, Wales and Northern Ireland will be living there illegally. Interesting times ahead for Scotland.

Great idea from Westminster
Vote no and we give you some extra power
But if you vote yes you get all the power lol

I still think No will win
But it's amazing that nearly 50% will vote yes
The fact that the majority of the no voters fear financial problems and defence gets my goat though
If anything scotland will be safer

depends on the turnout on the day. If its a Yes vote then next years general election will be scrapped and held a year later after Scotlands day of independence where surely we will get a paid holiday YIPPEE something for free at last. Plenty of positives and negatives for yes and no vote.

The no campaign announcing new powers has been roled out successfully before, hopefully the Scottish people will wonder why they only offer when they get desperate

no more champions league for Scotland, not that it matters as celtic are crap and no more European qualifiers for the European championships as Scotland wont be in the EU any longer. (No more embarrassing losses to the tiny nations)

Some regard themselves as Vikings in Shetlands which reminds me of the Billy Conolly quote "I don't care if you're a Viking, get your axe out of the dart board"
