What a terrifying ad promoting the biggest event on the Highveld. " Zola Budd " mini-bus taxis racing with the nauseating commentaries and voice-overs that seem reserved for His Master's Voice only...............terribly terrible really........push mute immediate!!!

IT'S A RUSH....................for the taxi's to race to catch the next commuter with the raised finger, like the umpire in cricket, in taxi language it means "Going to town".

IT'S A RUSH....................for the taxis to crash and spill the commuters all over the place,sending a few to hospitals and the rest to their final resting-places. :sick:


Oh! If only those irritating, nauseating commentataries could be stopped. Time for new blood or new voices please..................or is being a commentator an important pre-requisite for those in the upper echelons at P and GC??? :dry:

Maybe the reasoning behind this ad is a logical one........the taxis are always IN A RUSH!!!

The ad does not appeal to me. However, I have been bemoaning the fact that ads are always aimed at the converted, for years. Lets see what happens on the day.....

Caught the attention of my six yr old kids...they definitely converted...they loved the ad!

just a small question,is it part of clyde basel and graeme hawkins job to do all the voice overs for all racing ads or do they get paid extra.i believe it's quite lucrative to do voice overs in the advertising world

it's impossible to please everybody, i like the ad....
