Wouldn't it be great if the bookies would give odds on what horse will bring Striker to his 5000th winner? It can't be that difficult surely?

It will not happen today...unfortunately. I believe many fans and Phumulela staff made the trek to the Vaal today in case he pulled it off. Some were quite confident that he would. But the 2nd box has hosted him too many times today.

How lucky are we to have him and have had him riding in SA. Striker has booted home many a bet for me over the years...no doubt many of you as well.

I will not miss a race that he rides in until the amazing achievement is reached.
