seems to be a phenomenon with record chasing jockeys to reach their milestone.
Remember AP McCoy last year how long he took to win his 4000th winner. This was also followed by the press at every meeting.

I'm thinking of taking a drive to the Vaal tomorrow to see if he hits the mark there, I think he just might (Tom Fool and Prince of Orange?)

My opinion is that Striker will want to hit the 5,000 mark at a BIG event. Not at a small setting like at the Vaal.

Striker is too fond of the Limelight,

That is why I left him out of all my permutations yesterday (18th) at the Vaal.

Striker's rides tomorrow are not so hot.

He will be good for places, but I don't think he will win a Race.

Save your money and time for Saturday, or next Saturday !

He will win with Bah tomorrow at the Vaal.

His ride on Act of War at Kenilworth will be his 5000th winner.

Race 2 - 11 Pearl Valley 11/2
Race 3 - 14 Tom Fool 33/10 (F)
Race 5 - 8 Bah 9/2 (F)
Race 6 - 6 Dante's Legacy 2/1 (F)
Race 8 - 15 Prince of Orange 7/1
Race 9 - 10 Dalaat 14/1
Race 10 - 10 Lady Thistle 9/2

Lesesding, mate,, how could he be on the verge of 5000 winners if he was the type of jock you are categorising him as? He will be having a full go tomorrow at the Vaal and as the professional he is, take the milestone in his stride, come where it may. Where it happens is definitely secondary to champions like he is.

I have already posted TWO that i think will go close and you can throw in BAH and Dante's Legacy - I do hope the 5000 is on the grey Bah as he's such a striking horse and will make a lovely headline picture.
