Pirates, why is True Strength having his 5th run in Kzn in less than a year? His mr has fluctuated between 44/63 and runs this Sunday. He has won twice here in that time. It is because he is allowed to because he is not using GC boxes. He is not the only one. It is just that he is running this Sunday so it is easy to see. Weiho is not here officially yet but his filly Sterling Leaves was handicapped off a mr 60 to run on Friday night but he scratched. If he had accepted she would have been allowed to run. Stop lying to the other posters in an effort to get people against KZN trainers and GC. Get your facts straight as this is one of the real issues about what people read on forums. Even if it is a complete lie, someone will believe it and possibly repeat it and then it goes on from there until someone actually believes it is fact! The real issue here is your completely blinkered hatred of ANYTHING KZN RACING from the people working in it to the Directors.

Pirates, if they were stabled at somewhere outside GC boxes, they could run what they want and that is the truth. GC does not have the boxes but I suppose that can only be blamed on GC or the Trainers here. Nothing about when KZN trainers applied for the Cape season and got told no a just a couple of horses can come because they have a shortage of boxes!

Maybe GC should build 100 boxes for visiting horses and let the visiting trainers sort out how many & what MR's but by the same token, Phum should make the same amount of boxes (100 per region) available in CPT, JHB and PE for the same purpose.
