Except they have oversubscribed their betting platform. Cannot play spontaneous bets. 15 minits to place a bet

Since around 12:30.... Straight after the 3rd race I have been trying to play a swinger and a double.... Managed to get the swinger on....double...not since 14:08 can I get a response from the website

I'm normally a big fan of Hollywood, but lately I've found many reasons to question their delivery. Yes, Dev is great as problem solving AFTER the event, after a missed bet.. Etc but lately I feel they are trying to offer a product they cannot deliver on. Poor delivery today, poor resulting, still waiting rugby settlement half an hour after the game.. And don't say but busy, you offering a service that is sub- standard on big/busy days.. With regularity.

I can concur ...... Mr. Devin Heffer, does come back with a polite explanation and an apology ....but that is after the fact. Various delays have happened for ages.
I would have thought that their Capital Expenditure and budget would ensure the best Information technology. Certainly better than the Gold Circle/Phumelela operating systems.They are the biggest bookmakers ...surely ? or second.
I don't even bother phoning the Website queries number....anymore.

Every local site,with local IT support,seems to be unable to provide a reasonable service.
I eventually closed my account with Marshalls (albeit a long time ago)after continual website problems,Betting world shut down their "new" site for months while they got it right and Hollywood was a real problem this weekend.
In my business ,I solved the problem by insisting that any IT provider had penalties built into non-delivery ......the improvement was phenomenal........lol.

I will follow up with our IT department to find out what happened over the weekend. I know it is after the fact, but with the J&B Met just around the corner, we cannot afford to have the same thing happen. We have normally been organised on big days, and we are sorry we let you down on this past weekend.
With regards to In-Running, we have just launched our new Live In-Play platform for the website and mobisite. Its still in its infancy stage, but we have found it to be working quite well. Countrymember - I will send you a PM to get more information, and get our team leader to give you a call.

Am i the only one having problems with Hollywood?
It's been slow the whole weekend and I have seen others complaints However, I now find myself swearing to get a bet on!

Nope, the website is very poor at present. Kyle did offer help.... but was a BAD time when I saw it and the poor person got flamed in a PM. Apologies Kyle....... :oops: ....
I stopped punting 14:00 on Summer Cup day..... and after the same poor experience on Sunday....gave racing a miss.
I tried again today thinking that it is a quieter day.....but the response is still really poor.
