I see Grant Van Niekerk jumps off Shingwedzi and on Lucky Tuesday? I mean just over a length behind acrostar and shud be fitter, would he honestly be jocked off or his choice to change mounts.. Anything read into that? I see LT 5lengths off cold as ice, didn't watch that race so I'm not sure how good run it was, but know CAI is a good sort..
When you running with the big dogs, u can't piss like a puppy..

imo 5L off shouldnt be good enough to win graded races

The bookies have got it wrong again - OP's on Acrostar and Capt America are too expensive. Current perceived value lies with Indaba and Helderberg Blue :-) -:)

Fancy a bit of Gold Onyx.
Only 2nd run after a rest a worry and coz he is the oldest. .
Last run was full of running behind candy moon and got no clear run.
Today the longer run in ,will be finishing like a steam train.

Other one I fancy a big price is shingwedzi in the 6th.
2nd run after a rest also .

Having an eachway double.

Runners today:
Race 3: Dance in the Woods. She did not stay the 1600m last time, and should run a better race this trip. Has been consistent, well drawn and is working well at home. Decent e/w chance. Barega looks the one to beat but must overcome wide draw. Carmen Silver and Carousel Swing have good form and should be in the shakeup. Reign and Paparazzi Star lightly raced and should improve. Selection 4/3/6/5
Race 4: Blarney Bay. Optimum trip, appie allowance and should run his usual honest race here. Solar Star improved last time and with no penalty for that effort should go close from pole position. Paolo is also well in but prefers further and may need this. My co- owners have a good back- up in Sail South. Not much between him and Excelero on KZN form. Selection 1/9/6/5

Quite a tricky card.
Race 1: captain Blackwater reverts to 1200m and is a confident selection.
Race 2: ridiculous to have this in the Bipot.
Race 5: Valerin, In the Cruise and Liquid Mercury should fight it out. Robertson has been off form, but could surprise here.
Race 6:hard to separate Jet Supreme, Acrostar, Red Flame and Shingwedzi. Will be interesting to see how the 3yos do here, but they look held by their elders unless improving. Indaba the best of the younger brigade. Selection 2/1/6/5/8
Race 7: captain America should come on from his last run, and this course and distance was his best effort when touched off in the Guineas. Gold Onyx is capable. Punta Arenas poor effort last time, but is well in at the weights on best form. Helderberg Blue is going the right way. Power King is consistent and distance suited .Selection 8/2/9/1
Race 8: very open. Lady Ming showed very good improvement last time, and is worth following.
Race 9: tricky race.
