have a winning run and see how quickly your relationship with said bookies deteriorates none of us are immune to limits and closing of accounts..as for Betting World try to get an "open bet" with them...

Due to the co-mingling of the Totes with France all the win pools were around R1m and there can be no argument that the win value was with the Tote, so whoever supports the open bet and says its good for the punter should have a rethink a strong tote will ALWAYS be better value ...
tell me titch why don't you take the AVERAGE PRICE TRADED instead of the starting price for bookmakers or do you think that every punter that bets with bookmakers takes starting prices? YOU HAVE TO HAVE ROCKS IN YOUR HEAD IF YOU HAVE A WIN aND PLACE BET ON THE TOTE AND YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT THE RETURN IS UNTIL AFTER THE RACE.... whoever thinks that bigger win and place pools mean a bigger return also has shit for brains and presenters who say this shit on television must be saying it either under duress or have fcukall clue how the betting market works,,how presenters can gloat about tote value well before the race is off should also go on a course on HOW THE BETTING WORKS ...it is a fcuking disgrace the crap I have to listen to

The fact that the Tote changes 1 to 2 minutes AFTER the off is exactly what I have a problem with...so a punter has no clue and no recourse...it can change in any direction...even be manipulated...
Why the delay on the Tote dividends...??????? I cannot accept the computer still number crunching....

The reason why the tote changes up to a minute after they jump because of the overseas money coming in.

No...but I also don't believe in the mystery Aussie punter either....I think it's a convenient excuse...that may be applied into the future...when they cannot explain an inconsistency...and that is my concern....(they have not made it manipulation free...or totally transparent as to the workings...)

my question is ...Why after the off...slow computers...

Why not close 1 minute before the off for overseas punters...?

Why don't they close the holes and make it totally transparent...who will complain if the overseas money is co-mingled before the off...and what would be the reason for the complaint...?
