It will ALL depend on The State Of Lerena's Attitude ! on "Deputy Jud ".
I've taken mostly places in double with Study The Stars in Cape Town
I quite like "Study the Stars", but I'm scared of the Old Man on "Thaler Point".

R1 Oreo is on 2nd run after the rest and his comeback run does not inspire confidence, another shabby start and life could be very difficult for him. The inform Ndlovu is up on the consistent(ish) on the turf Intandokazi and though no star, he could crack it today from a reasonable draw. Stablemate Grand Opera and Aza Arrow could be in the vicinity.
R2 Tiger Right could go in but seemingly has issues and though a frequent placer the form does not look all that strong. Blinkers and Marwing could help but I prefer Le Dominion who ran well enough in debut and though not a particularly strong field the form has not worked out too badly. The 1 box will do his chances no harm. Heywot worth a look for places, small e/w or whatever!
R3 A Love Supreme e/w, La Digue R1 e/w idiot - no apparent reason for two very bad latest runs but the two prior to that on this course when coming off a rest were not the worst comparatively in this field, also had some fair form in KZN.
R4 My main idiot of the day is Victorinox. Three runs back was coming off a rest and the two subsequent efforts were sand runs. Possible just out of form but if needing that first run and not enjoying the sand then some form prior to the rest certainly does not warrant 40/1 odds... eg over 1200 on this course in the run before the rest, from draws not that dissimilar from those they have today, was only 0.25l behind Last Battle and is now much better off at the weights. Ciao Ciao has had possible excuses but a return to his early form could see him go close and Tiger Storm could be thereabouts from the 1 box.
Time getting short so...
R5 Corleoni a chance but rather a watch for me, Lavish gal could go in again but not convinced the form lines are that strong so I'll chance Chestnut Charger who, though behind Epic Tale, has had excuses last couple of runs but was in good form prior to the 10 week rest and if all is well could challenge from a reasonable draw in 5. CC and ET my exacta.
R6 Deputy Jud for me to win nicely. Rushmore River and Eurakilon could fill the places. Jet Avenger respected despite the rest.
R7 Very open (or not a clue is maybe more accurate lol). I'll chance a wee investment on Miss Rambo at the prices.
R8 Anjaal. The Big Easy and Silver Scooter may get closest.
R9 Main Sunday but I am very tempted by Lady Of The Lords who imo is worth a small e/w saver if nothing else. Walking On Air has a tough draw but could fill the trifecta spot.
R10 Ditto R7's opening sentence... Wesr We Go, Brignumberfour and Chennai Baby to maybe fight it out.
Be(s)t of luck to all

Intandokazi, Master Archer, Solar T, Deputy Jud and Vino Veritas all worthy bets. Nothing else interests me, Gold Bank won't run a place!
