I don't think Bling will be particularly proud of that ride. He couldn't have found more trouble if he tried. Poor ride.

Am I being blinkered by a lousy day personally or was that meeting not full of poor efforts and poor rides? Got zero entertainment value from it.

I don't think that was a clever ride from Dillon - Balance Sheet spent the whole race looking at the horses on his inside and was gone before they hit the straight.

Well That's Donovan Dillon off my Christmas Card list then!!! Stone last. And a July nomination???
PS Well tipped BAYERN!

Thanks Gazza, hope you either put a few bob on it and or stuck it into your exotics. Had a good punt on the head and a double onto Futura for the July.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

There were 2 horses that I brassed on today's card viz Tripandie and Balance Sheet.

I could not see any reason in the formline as to why Tripandie would be favourite , apart from the fact that Delpech was riding.

As for Balance Sheet, Yes it won on the surface the last run but that was over 1600m and it just managed to hold on. i had this feeling that Balance Sheet would be suspect on the surface over 1900.
In any event, I don't blame Dillon at all.
If that horse was "right" over that distance and on the surface, don't you think that Delpech would have taken the ride or Randolph for that matter.

Agreed-Tripandie was my lay of the day.........(mind you, laying hasn't been my strong point for the last few weeks :woohoo: )

I agree with you as regards Balance Sheet... I looked and looked...could not understand the price at all :S
