@ ShezaPunter and Gazza, don't leave out Krambambuli in your play. Looking at Fourie's book of rides today, he has two for Egdes and one for Snaith, the horse in question. For me the intent is there.
Again, for me, Krambambuli has run to much stronger (and probably closer to) than Balance Sheet. The other thing, it would appear 1800 to 2000m is what this horse is looking for, so today's distance should present no problems. In the Cape Derby he was 0.10 off Act Of War at level weights and in his provincial debut he was far from disgraced against older horses.
At 6/1, Krambambuli is worth a punt.

DIAMOND LEAGUE - I know this family well - two were trained by Craige Mayhew and both showed early - Big runner on ped but will be better over 1400 -1600.
