Again, for me, Krambambuli has run to much stronger (and probably closer to) than Balance Sheet. The other thing, it would appear 1800 to 2000m is what this horse is looking for, so today's distance should present no problems. In the Cape Derby he was 0.10 off Act Of War at level weights and in his provincial debut he was far from disgraced against older horses.

At 6/1, Krambambuli is worth a punt.

As for Balance Sheet, Yes it won on the surface the last run but that was over 1600m and it just managed to hold on. i had this feeling that Balance Sheet would be suspect on the surface over 1900.
In any event, I don't blame Dillon at all.
If that horse was "right" over that distance and on the surface, don't you think that Delpech would have taken the ride or Randolph for that matter.
