2yr olds do not have a good strike rate, over further than sprints,(in open company)at this time of the year.
Not saying it can't win but wouldn't be taking a short price!
Bigbrass... I am hopeful that you will be visiting the winners enclosure. I haven't looked at the card as yet but I do remember Rikititana running a cracker.

JCL btw that last thank you came with a one eye half closed suspicious and somewhat sceptical look on my face lol
Shield, thanks for the clarification, have done as ordered and chilled lol not that I noticed smoke pouring from my ears
I am with Bayern (and JCL) in the EM camp but not one I would have a single punt on, I might do a small double with Rainy Day Blues in the 6th (I was stupidly very hopeful of seeing the 14/1 forecast in the guides... a little gutted when I saw the actual price!
)

This forum can sometimes open your eyes to things that you never considered before it got pointed out. I did not consider Dutch Harbour a runner in the 4th. I preferred the chances of his stable companion to be honest especially in light of the jockey arrangements. After spending a bit more time studying the horses form, I now make DH a MASSIVE runner and the reason for this is solid. If you study this horses form AROUND THE TURN he has run 2 races and placed second in both. The horses that he has placed to are proper horses, Rabada looks to be something special, and Star Chestnut came out after beating DH a shd and won possibly the strongest Juvenile Plate KZN had to offer at that time. Looking at the Rabada run, DH beat El Maestro by 3,5 lengths at level weights. Today DH receives 3kg from EM - explain 5/2 vs 8/1??? This horse has to be a runner today and I will include him in everything.
Interestingly the horse has run down the straight 3 times and has faired badly each time.

Good morning All!
Just a quick question, before I get bombarded as well
Any validity in backing top jocks? Can't imagine a stable putting a below average jockey on a winning horse?
I am thinking if a stable puts a top jockey on one of their horses, it is a good indication there is good potential for win or even place?
Your advice guys?

The theory is sound. Many moves pulled to secure better prices for the punt sometimes.

Could put a "lesser" jockey on "better" horse to get better price ?? !!
