Be careful of Hot Affair in the race. Although she has not run for over a year, she is well in here and could run them ragged.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

I played the double :-
R2) Hot Affair X (R6) Lanner Falcon
Make Hot Affair a massive runner as she is well in and gets the apprentice allowance in addition. They should allow this horse to just use her weight advantage.
Lanner Falcon is also well weighted and looks difficult to oppose. Played the double with Featherfoot in Jhb.
Treble worked out to 37/1 yesterday, still worth a go whatever the current odds.

R2, looks like we have the quartet, that's until someone else chooses a fifth fancy to run us all down.
On a serious note, if the Computaform has the merit rating correct for Hot Affair, this horse need only to be pointed in the right direction and she should skate in.
If my calculation is correct, Hot Affair should be carrying 63.5kgs after the wfa allowance and before the application of the apprentice allowance of 1.5kgs - all told, 62.0kgs.
She is carrying 52.5kgs  , not sure how much more shoe-in a horse can be, but she should be able to run the race twice and still finish before the second placed horse  .
Let's see how it unfolds tomorrow.

Hot Affair returning after 13mths off, if not needing the run looks the horse to beat. Just concerned about the rest

My last say-so on Hot Affair.
Despite being off the track for over a year, she has a lot going for her. All three runs to date have been in the softer going rather than the going being on top, so should the going come up slightly soft tomorrow, she shouldn't have a problem. The two races she won has produced a combined total of 11 winners, not a bad thing?
I would like to believe that going the minimum trip after such a long break and with an apprentice up is an indication that they will allow this filly to take full advantage of the pull at the weights. Admittedly we the punting public are taking the horse's fitness on trust, however there is no guarantee that she will bleed again tomorrow. She may bleed and still win on her behind, but that's not what we're hoping for, because she clearly has shown she has ability.
In closing, and no disrespect to trainer M. Robinson, but had this horse been with either Snaith or Bass, what price do you think she would have opened?
I'm prepared to row in with her.
