With most of the top horses with ones and 'twas being retired to stud, ( Wylie hall, legislate, Futura, Captain Of All etc )

What horse stands out ?

Can't think of many ?

I think there are a few good two-year-olds that will furnish into top horses at three- I'm sure there are some flyers that will hit the Gauteng tracks in late September and October

Bob, in David Thiselton article, it mentions Legislate having a summer campaign

"Legislate is unbeaten in four starts at Greyville, all of them Gr 1s from 1600-2200m. Snaith said it was hard to say whether he had the speed to win the Mercury but had decided upon this option because there was nothing else left for him in the KZN season. “We’re just taking our chances over a sprint, just to sharpen him up a bit for the Cape Summer Season. We have him in the Champions Cup too just in case.”

Well no judgement can be made on the current 3 year olds on the July run . So still think there are a few decent ones with legal Eagle being the pick.
People also seem to forget Act of War , done nothing wrong except ,God forbid, a second place in the Derby !

I'll know by Dec,Jan...as these times horses show themselves...eg. legislate,LTK,Futura,French Navy,Leagle eagle,ect. Or at least this is when I foretold them to become stars lol...so I say we wait...

Drdom.....act of war does not stay......1400 or 1600m. I say please dont forget about The Conglomerate. Top horse and next year will show more

Think so ja,but what I meant was that months of the year future stars start 'showing'.Just need to know what to look for in LORRAINE...Her BEAUTY will shine thru YOUr HOUSE.
