Now I know this might be a touchy subject, but does anyone feel this way? At kenilworth I had a nice multiple running onto Mr Wise guy riden by yours truley Neisius. Now I am the 1st one to say never back him on a short fav, but does anyone ever feel deserted like me when u lose a bet and in your heart u know if another jock was on you prob would have won? Once again its just my feeling, and my feeling is pure SHIT for doos karl!!! Its not cause of one ride, I cannot begin to count the amount of times he has not just let me down, but I have wAtched the race over and over, and he simply either just takes it easy or doesn't give a sh*t!!!!

a dodgy ride. Just don't back certain jocks
on odds on fav when u know there is sumthn not right, especially in this case, u know who.

What I am trying to get at is... Basically I backed the ramsden horse in the first riden by Cheyne, it should of shat is( watch the ride again), and I accept that it is part of racing... I just feel that he gives certains rides half the effort when it most counts....maybe its just me, but its happened far too many times.....

To be honest at Karls age and at this stage of his career, what is he still riding for besides something to do. I'm sure by the last race all he is thinking about is getting back to the old age home for his tea and biscuit thus you get rides of that quality. No matter how much you like the horse just don't back it

I think we are all harsh on jockeys particularly when we are talking from our pockets. I must agree with Bob on this that imvho there was nothing wrong with the ride, the horse was simply not good enough after KN gave him every chance. Now if you want to highlight a bad ride, have a look at Dillons ride on the Snaith hottie in the last yesterday. If I was Justin, I would be a very concerned man about my choice of replacement for Richard Fourie. That horse should never have been beaten and was given a shockingly inept ride, again thats my opinion anyway.

Personally I dont back Karl, not because I do not like the fella, just because when I have I have been burnt, from Hot favourites to the outsider... I never seem to get it right with him...

Cheyne is also on that list of late...

I agree, I was standing in front of the wire at the track for that race, I had a pretty good view, that challenger just had too much late speed imo.

To answer your question ----no its not just you.

Without having a go at Oom Karl --I don't back him if he is riding a favorite.
