if the world cup was run along the same lines as the four nations I would say the boks cant win it but they will definitely qualify for the quarters and then they have to win three matches which they are definitely capable of doing ..good to see the support for them on this site from the true green and gold supporters

YUP pirates the support has been amazing, do people really forget quickly how they pissed all over NZ and AUS only to be very unlucky late on in both matches..

If i was the New Zealand coach or the Aus coach i would make SA the team to beat

We can hope that all the players with injuries that are returning will be fit enough for the WC. Duane Vermeulen ,Francios Louw, Fourie du Preez and Jean de Villiers. If this is the case they will make a huge difference to the team and our winning chance.
The build-up has not been great but lets be positive and hope all the kak is over. Now for the cup. Go Bokke !!

No OTA, we just love our Springboks and despite not agreeing with some selections we are still behind our team. The bookmaker's still have them 3rd favorites and I have seen many bookmakers 3rd favourites win big features with all the connections and many punters supporting the horse! Go Bokke! I am not sure why you are so against the team but it I your prerogative to do so even if wrong in my eyes.

Craig I am against the team because it will not be representative of the best selections we can put on the park. I also love my money a lot more than to get sentimental or patriotic about it. Punt the All Blacks, do better than double your money in slightly more than a month and we chat then when hoender and half the others are baying for Meyers head (again).

OTA I agree that there are selections that are not in the teams best interest(as in the World Cup cricket semi-final) but we have to live with it now and get behind the boys. I am not punting in the tournament at the moment so I am just right behind the Boks!
