Pirates, I don't disagree bud. My "complaint" has always been that they should have taken steps to maintain the track and, from what I can tell, they have simply failed miserably in this regard over the last couple of years. My strong suspicion is that this was a deliberate ploy and what makes it even more annoying is their "it's everyone else's fault" stance. Everyone interested in sand racing has noticed, and many of us commented on, the course's problems and declining consistency. As you say, a few years ago it was imo the most "honest" course in SA and I think most clanners know it was my favourite hunting ground for a long time. But, I have little to no confidence now in the course and it is a big part of the reason I have massively reduced my "interest" in the game. Just annoys me big big time that they allowed it to happen and will cost many plenty, including those horses who are only really suited to the surface.

so what am I missing. I like munger he an amazing young jock.
I can't have her - left the Maidens beating 5 potential polo ponies. Ryan is a top little rider but that won't be enough to help her. If Imperial Empress repeats her last run she wins - Rather look for Ryan in the 7th
I agree IF Imperial Empress repeats her last run she must be the one to beat, but in her penultimate run she was beaten 16 lengths, so consistency not her strong suit - 9kg's a lot of weight to give; yes, Susquehanna did beat the proverbial blind school, but this a pretty desperate field as well; I think Susquehanna is better than a 50 (I have her at 55 at least) , she will be handy and Imperial Empress will have to run her down - a lot will depend if Mr Munger can get the pace right.
The winner won by 11 that day so was in a race of her own - I'm going sw box Imperial, Knock Knock and Soukous
you were right about the last , nc mr h. pity i didn't get on. still think susqi can make the places in the next so thats my punt.
you not alone - 40/1 25/1Shorten20/1Shorten 16/1Shorten

I know that some didnt act in the last race(that used to ) but looks extremely bad when a horse is punted like no tomorrow and shits in that easily, race over 800m from home

Sh1t course
Sh1t consistency
etc
and yet, I think the last two meetings on the Vaal sand have somehow still managed to produce the two most active daily threads in the last week or two...
