Start of the 3 day Cambridgeshire meeting from Newmarket , can't wait to see Shalaa running on Saturday ..

Interested in the 16/1 Steady Pace in today's Feature, horse only has to stay 1400m to be involved imo.

R4 Pontefract Sunraider E/W. Likes Pontefract and won this last year. Has a plum draw in stall one and looks primed to run a big race now that he is dropping slightly in class. Should be up to making the first four at least at around 10/1.

R5 Cork Niven E/W. This nursery is a bit of a lottery with not much solid form to go on. The selection has only had three runs in maidens, has improved in each one and might just have got in lightly here on his handicap debut. Seems to Handle give in the ground and Shane Foley is a good jockey booking. Could go very well here and 11/1 represents good E/W value.
