pick 6 will be a carryover. i have never seen so many raiding trainers. if this is the way it is going to be with the closure of vaal sand then the kimberly trainers will battle and no more games. I wonder how many scratchings will be on the day with reason.. transport breakdown

This meeting shows the point that I think we often miss...............when things like surfaces ,handicapping systems ,betting patterns /systems are being debated ,different stakeholders will always have different opinions, due to different benefits.
If this meeting is anything to go by ,the closing of Vaal sand suggests PUNTERS will benefit from bigger fields and more interesting racing at Flamingo.
(but,it's accepted that it's not so great for the connections of sand inclined horses, generally!)

To the card................Kingofmountain is an interesting runner ..................has not run in a handicap on sand for ages!
Last time he did he ran 3rd off a 99 and is now off a 74.........this might be a shrewd move!

once again the scratchings have arrived with the excuse of no transport. And then the trainers who use the excuse/lie still have other horses running. Its means they dont get the 14 day run suspension.

We had trouble on our way yesterday to the track , truck/float broke down 3 times and caused extra 5 hours in 41+ degrees. Must have taken its toll but we are racing.
