for those who want him back with all his continued mistakes and howlers please in future don't complain about any other racecaller or presenter who makes the odd mistake now and then..

Really Chicken,think of the punters that have to listen to the audio commentary and have ripped up their winning tickets after ANOTHER wrong call.

I don't have time to go through previous threads to hunt out any hypocrites.. but there are those that are choosing to be blinkered... Not being consistent in your desire for change, where it is needed. This is one of those small little things, nevertheless if you ever dared to comment against mediocrity.. Don't just jump on the bandwagon for a laugh. In any given field, he would not have kept his job on merit, save for sentimental reasons.

Just watch the Turff thread today,no real interest from anyone,PE is definately not the same without Schoeman. Some love him & some don't, for different reasons

Dumpy is supposedly a very nice fellow,that is not in dispute.
But when a product is broadcast globally surely the customers should be getting a top notch service.Its not as though he's at multiple meetings all week.
If you look at the last 10 Fairview meetings,there must be the same horses that have run in 6+ Meetings.
Is he doing enough homework and preparing himself properly?

There is not many commentators in sa who can say they have never called an incorrect horse during a race so I cannot see why they would pick on one and take away his way of earning a living, its just wrong imo :sick:
