I don't think there is a chance in hell they will race at Turf t'morrow!
It has stopped raining now ,but if Turf had anything like we had in Randburg,on top of the rain midweek, the track has to be waterlogged ...................hope I'm wrong but I see a lot of rain is forecast for t'morrow too!

Both cards look very, very competitive, and the underfoot conditions will complicate matters furthers.
If they race, I fancy the chances of Aldiara in the 4th race. Hasn't won in the soft but also hasn't done too badly beyond the 1200m. Is holding form well and if running anywhere close to her last two efforts, must have a winning chance.
Her last effort, she conceded 11.5kgs to the winner and only went down by a very narrow margin.
The run before that is the one that interest's me. In that race she finished second, sandwiched between Swift Sara and Negroamaro when badly out at the weights. She carries the same weight (55.0kgs) today as two runs back.

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

I think we'll race.
Race 1, Juvenile boys: #6 SILVER KING; drawn on the paint; scorching hot combo of Bling and Tarry; best current price 3/1 with Lance Michael
Race 2, Juvenile girls: #11 TOUCHING; first timer half sister to Tellina; again the combo of Bling and Tarry; best current price 28/10 World Sports Betting
Race 7, Drum Star: #6 MASTER SWITCH; easy last win downing a subsequent winner; best current price 3/1 with Hollywoodbets
Race 9, handicap: #1 BRAVO MAYA; easy and impressive last run; Bling and Tarry combo; best current price 4/1 with Lance Michael
Prosperous punting

According to USO we are racing...........they gave a weather report but not a track report ........................that will be interesting.
Have to believe they missed the rain that hit the West Rand last night............it was flood proportions and driving this morning, there are roadsides that have washed away!

Approval mode
Aldiara e/w
Captain America
Imperial Gold
Bravo Maya
Small bets in the Cape on the two high priced hotties in the first two races.

Absolutely friendless in the market. I took the double onto Chinawhite. Also P6 Aldiara, Trip to India x Captain America x lots x lots x China White x lots

Well according to Sahorseracing NO RAIN in the last 24 hrs.....find that hard to believe....maybe somebody in the South can confirm?
Whether it ends up soft or not, I find it a very tough card....
R3: Mamdoona odds-on, but has a lot going for her..... on her debut when starting at adds-on, she did finish in front of subsequent winner Girl on the Run.....on collateral form through Russian Friend does seem held by Captured Quality, but I don't think Russian Friend is that consistent and my just have run well below her potential when finishing behind Captured Quality .... so Mamdoona hard to beat from pole position imo.....Navette a little bit of a dark horse coming back from a rest and the only possible danger imo
R4: Very tough opener to the P6......Aldiara imo did not get the best of rides when she should have won last time......but the possible soft going may be an issue for her ....would still be my first choice ......a roughie not to be left out imo is Lady Al who will certainly appreciate any cut in the ground....also Shivering Sea bit of a dark horse....did beat Sapsan as a juvenile and has come down 9 points in MR....
R5: Captain America on ratings....but for me not a foregone conclusion from a wide draw in what is surely a prep run....Shadow ofhis Smile has run unplaced twice in the wet.....so who knows....if it does turn out soft Forest Indigo could pull a surprise if managing his run behind French Navy
R6: Hyaku very courageous win in midweek, has run well in the soft....still gets 2.5 kg's from the disappointing stable companion Imperial Gold and on a tough card is the one I'm siding with .....First Sign and Canadian Mountie the only other ones with slight chances
R7: Typical handicap with chances to a quite a few...Master Switch unproven in the wet.....Judicial in form and obvious claims with Diesel Jet who probably would prefer it firmer.... Earl of Derby's last win was in the soft ...MR has dropped and definite contender if it turns out soft
R8: Chinawhite obvious claims but very short in the betting ....beaten by Secret Angel over 1800, so could get close between the 2 over 1600 ... Miss Whales seems held by Chinawhite, and the stable mate does not have the best of draws
R9: Lots of confidence about Bravo Mayo....but there has been no winners out of 36 runners from that draw, so I much prefer the chances of Grand Epoque ....but she needs to jump ....if she gets away too slowly, plenty of others are looking to pick up the pieces ....Monarch Air young improving filly, so may defy the handicapper, Wensleydale has pole position so can easily pop up, Elen Luydog very good penultimate run over 1450 at this track, Catch a Thief good form this trip and has run well in the soft
Break a leg
