there was a guy who had a substantial wager on black arthur but i was the only one near him at the bookies counter when he made it, he proceeded to curse as others were when it beat marcus's ride. i found this quite funny.
either he was so pissed (was a betting bar that is open late for the night meetings) he forgot he bet on the horse or he didnt want anyone to know he won, either way it made me smile, even tho i was on marcus's ride....

.....thought you were smoking your socks.....but not a bad call.....pity we did not know beforehand that Legislate was out of sorts .....I backed NP on the nose and had Ice Machine, Saratoga Dancer, and Legislate in my QT play....was looking for any excuse to brass Legislate(FB with IM and NP) but we only hear of his demeanour after the race..... :S

We always hear after the race. Legislate rather retire.
