I was checking the weather and they have already received more than 10x the rain forecast.

What is the issue with the irrigation? It did not affect the race meeting did it?

The issue is simple- course was wetter than it should have been, and hence got cut up badly by the racing on Friday. It's the beginning of the season, and there are many crucial races to be run on that track. Poor course management will negatively affect future racing.
The deluge over the weekend is obviously beyond anyone's control, and will exacerbate the situation.

9 years 4 weeks agoFunny that. In other posts on the forum people complain when racing is switched to the Poly because of soft underfoot conditions because "what about those horses that like the softer conditions." etc etcPeterD wrote: The issue is simple- course was wetter than it should have been, and hence got cut up badly by the racing on Friday.
