Some early thoughts from myself - but bear in mind that I am at the moment only able to pick a winner in games like the Shark vs the Kings - and then I still get the margin hopelessly wrong :(

In the Lonsdale, I may be biased but I think my Charity Turf Stayer, Balance Sheet will at least be in in contention; very open contest as can be seen from the betting, but BS enjoys the course, will prefer the trip and even further, and has not really been penalized for his 2nd in the Gold Cup last year - also seems to be the stable elect, so has a lot going for him imo; for place value I think Penhaligon is way over-priced.

In the Woolavington, I agree that an improving Nightingale is the right one - should only have Bela Bela to beat as imo Negroamara might be better over shorter and Heaps of Fun has also yet to confirm that she gets the trip.

In the Daily News, I think New Predator is also suspect over the trip, which makes Rabada very hard to beat - It's my Turn may be a danger if he can repeat his Cape Derby run, but may not be ideally suited to the short straight.

Best bet for me (and I can't believe the price) is Victory Takeover in the 7th, who imo has this field at her mercy at the weights.

Frodo, I agree with you on most counts.......

BS is my CTC horse as well. Looking forward to maximum points. BS should be cherry ripe for the Lonsdale.

Nightingale will win going away from BB. Again looking for maximum CTC points.

In the DN, I cannot get my mind away from Samurai Blade. I know the draw is awful, but I rate this horse and it may just be in his favour to be held up with a late finishing burst. Personally, I don't believe either NP or R will stay.

I will check out Victory Takeover - need something to punt confidently on the nose.

Seems like I'm the only one who's in Bela-Bela's camp... Rabada, a tentative pick for me in the daily news. Will do write-ups later.

If the race had been over 50m more lto, Nightingale would have won and closed a very attractive all to come for me. Sticking with her again and this time I will collect.

Watched the performance of Rabada lto.......Marcus did everything he could to extract more while BA responded easily and caught Rabada........maybe I am seriously wrong, but I can't see Rabada beating decent field over 2000m. I think New Predator will win in good company up to 1600m, but also can't see a winning performance in the DN. However, I will prepare for egg on my face as I've been wrong before.

I think he is a super horse too and at the odds worth a try.

Rabada has not done a lot wrong and the Derby winner ITs My Turn can't be ignored and was my opening betting fancy but do fancy Mambo Mine to get a place.

I still like Bela Bela but is a few that could upset. Some opting for Nightingale but I think it could be Negroamaro that upsets if anything.

Also, backing Helderburg blue for the umptienth time.... Owes me! Maybe today is the day :P

Bela Bela will shit in! She is a machine and is gona be MUCH better over the extra 400m compared to her Guineas win. She got into so much trouble in the Guineas and was switched all over the place to get a clear run. Once she got the run, Delpech pushed the button and it was tickets and tax! She won easing up at the line. The half length winning margin really flattered the runner up and if Bela Bela has a clear run tomorrow, she will destroy this lot! She is a champion and nothing will beat her tomorrow! This is one serious racehorse!!!

RACE 5 NO WORRIES - In good form and fitness on his side, others may have bigger targets

RACE 6 NIGHTINGALE - Brilliant run in the Guineas, should turn the tables on Bela Bela over this trip

RACE 7 - RABADA - Looks the horse to beat on all known form
