Talktothestars 10 october

I see Talktothestars runs on Monday in a pinnacle race @ Flamingo Park... SA's highest rated horse in training at 121 runs against a horse Mr50... I could be corrected but every horse will be giving Talktothestars no less than 10.5kgs on ratings, which is no9 On The Right Path rest of field is out 11.5kgs or more .......WHAT A JOKE..... would love to see the odds on the horse and it might be the easiest winner for L Bester.
You don't often see Gr1 horses running against Mr50 horses

His only start at flamingo before was a win and it was his only start on sand.... 2nd that day was Secret delight , 3rd was caribbean bay and 4th taso the sailor...but again he was then rated 41 points lower.
Will i bank him?... no , but really hope for coenie he wins and im sure its only a run to get him ready for bigger races in mind.
Flamingo is no walkover but i cannot wait to see the big boy in flesh this time.
Maybe its on his way for another cape campaign.

Ziets no racehorse should be using a race to "get him ready for bigger races in mind"
62.1 Every HORSE shall be run and shall be allowed to run to the best of its ability and on its merits.
The question is will this rule be enforced and has it ever been enforced?
Here is another rule that has never been considered in Kimberley
62.3.1 The TRAINER of a HORSE shall ensure that such HORSE does not run in an inconsistent manner (also referred to as "reversal of form" or "in and out running"). Where inconsistent running has or may have occurred, an investigation into such matter may be held in terms of the RULES
So this begs the question - why have rules if you are never going to enforce them?

So if he loses monday it will need to be explained...?
But his best ever rating on this surface is been to a 85 merit rating mark and over 1200m and not 1000m !!!!
On his proven sand ability he carries 4,5kg too much on monday and that would have put kingoftheworld 2kg better off at the weights and devon gold 1,5kg better off at the weights than him. So on monday he is actually 6,5kg to kotw and 6kg to dg WORST off on his proven ability on surface.
The handicapper have him at 121 on sand also ( im still have no idea why, im a bit too stupid to understand it maybe) , so he is 11,5kg better off than the best in the race on weights on monday according to the handicapper but that is on his proven GRASS rating but on his PROVEN SAND rating he cannot win if horses been machines and not flesh and blood.
So , the handicapper must be praying he wins by many lenghs because if he doesnt win it gives coenie every right to take them on and they need to do some explaining and adjustments.
Can you explain it?
Cannot wait to see how the race goes

From Darryl Maree @SAFBETTINGCLAN Talktothestars doesn't have a sand rating yet. The handicapper has no explaining to do if he gets beat on Monday

Ziets I am highlighting some clear anomolies concerning the rules. This horse is perhaps not the greatest example HOWEVER when trainers clearly "flout" the rules by giving horses runs in races to bring them on for bigger races later - as you have highlighted yourself - then you have to ask the question why these rules that I have highlighted are not enforced.

Sean Tarry is the master of using conditions races as exercise gallops. Go have a look at French Navy as an example there are many more.

Darryl must then tell me what his WIN on SAND meaned because when talktothestars DID WIN ON SAND it didnt have any effect on his grass rating it only effected his sand rating ..... so how does he explain that?????
When you have 3 runs on sand (without a win) you then get a official meritrating , when you win you immediatly get a rating . Same applies to grass/poly

OTA, I have Elusivenchantment coming back after a 3 month rest on Sunday, there are no races for her in Natal, time is running out for her to be race fit for bigger races. She carries 63kg over a distance short of her best. Do you think for one minute the instructions would to be win at all cost ? Now does this make me/trainer guilty of what ? She is going out to do her best, if she wins great but if she doesnt.......can somebody say she was just having an outing ? Maybe....how would you prove it ?
Just an example of a given situation forced on us/horse. Its never straight forward bud.
