The unfashionable jock is probably the reason for the big price (and she is well tried) ..... but at 14's she gets a few of my pennies and goes into Patents. Very difficult race though. The other lurker I fancy is Nordic Speed dropping back in distance, possible peak run. Was hoping to see blinker strike
I'm glad someone else also thinks it's a difficult race other than myself. Just walked in and i see Stan Elley loaded this race in his JP, about 6 horses if i correctly remember. Like you compare the weight turn-around between Twinkle Toes and Captain's Dove, oddly enough the same applies to the favourite and Hanabi, they should run closer to each other. My value in the race is Supercilious despite carrying 61.0kgs, this this is a runner as well. Have stuck Twinkle Toes in my multiples as i make her the one to beat. The more one looks at the race, the more open the outcome. I say again at the risk of being horribly wrong, this is not a one horse race despite the betting being as it is.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

R5. Had a look again at Possibly Me. Last 2 drawn in the bush not a bad run to Pint Pot over 1200. Kotzen/Fourie will be going in to most of my patents today at a nice price.

Race 1: we have Romantic Crusade. Nice filly, will come on from the experience. Possible place chance.
Race 3: Gypsy Beauty has good form, but the improving Saint Janine and Geographe Bay preferred. We have Xibelani on debut- shows pace at home, will come on from this run. Strong field, possible place chance.
Race 4:La Favourani narrow selection in an open race.
Race 5: Tricky maiden, quite a few with chances. O'Keeffe an interesting roughie- could show a lot of improvement around the turn after fair debut.
Race 6: Party Crasher selected in an open race.
Race 7: Anneline is well in at the weights at a nice price.
Race 8:Scandal last run very impressive. If Carry on Alice needs this, and Real Princess finds it a bit sharp, could upset.
Race 9: Kenny Trix deserves a change in luck, but very open race.
Race 10: Arabian Dynasty should make amends today. Figaro should enjoy this trip.
