Have said before that Kannemeyer is obviously cutting his nose off to spite his face by not TRYING to utilise the services of (say) Fourie who is a freelance jockey in the Cape. I honestly believe the stable will have more winners because he has a decent string. But then again, I wouldn't know the real reason he doesn't engage Fourie, however, stats are stats, whether you want to believe them or not.
