everything that happens is usually hush hush and never straight to the point. .
Any big news in racing e.g. jockey / trainer split owner / trainer split is hardly or never written in the press.
Are the sportingpost etc too shy/ scared to publish stuff??
Or do they feel that by publishing articles they fear the threat of bringing racing into disrepute. .the famous last words...

we are not allowed to even voice our opinion here in North Korea . Well done you hit it on the head. Its unbelievable the more they mess up the more we are surpressed. Lets put it that way. How are we ever going to improve on our mistakes. No chance .

i scratch your back you scratch mine and when the shit hits the fan we scratch together and stick together and all will be fine. Works in politics so should work in most things

go on, Bob wont ban you as he sits alone on the round table and you have to be a repeat offender before he has a meeting with himself then pushes the dreaded button :)

Maybe a total independent "press" ??
Not affialted to any of the racing clubs so no bums to lick...
Like most of you guys on here I'm passionate about racing
Myself and my family have owned horses for years but stopped in the last few years..
This big broom and carpet crap just leaves a sour taste behind...

Well I will sponsor it . When you are ready I am ready . We need to report the truth and no body wants to talk. F.... That. So here is a proposal = Position required - Investigative journalist - send cv to mpsolutions@absamail.co.za . Its time to expose . And I am wiling to pay for the sake of horse racing in South Africa. Does any one understand the History we are trying to protect.

i remember that. Panorama do a great job in weeding the weeds out. The reporter had to go into hiding after they aired one of his reports

@ Mojo, I've just watched both parts of the Panorama video, Wow! That makes me so much the more happier to have gotten rid of the betting bug.
One can only imagine what goes on in this country, where the level of surveillance and scrutiny as compared to the UK, is almost non existent.

I guess any person of reasonable intelligence will know that these things have being going on for ever , but having watched the video reminds me of just how vulnerable and dumb us average punters are.

The odds of winning are so badly stacked against you that it's only compulsive gamblers or eternal optimists that would continue to gamble on horses .
