Bob, he was weighted to win on Saturday (bar Ovidio, who ran no sort of race) so don't know if he will get a MR increase. Off a 107 before the race he would carry 55,5kg's with Captain America being top rated at 116.

Before that win it would have carried 55.5kgs. Its merit rating at most can go up by 6 points after its win on Sunday. So it can carry anywhere between 55.5kgs to 58.5kgs at the moment.

IMO, the opening price of 7/1 was ridiculous .... at the weights has a big task against many other runners, so probably more realistic now ... but I still can't have him :huh:

See there has been a couple of knee-jerk betting adjustments to the Ante-Post market - at WSB Horizon now at 13/1, Elusive Silver at 14/1 :lol: Also Nother Russia now 20/1 which seems a more realistic price seeing that her MR will probably be adjusted to around 104 ...
