My 5 cents is to listen to what Peter D had to say, the owner of the second placed horse, he sums up the race perfectly. Right or wrong we all have an opinion its not personal.
I recon the jocks behind were waiting for Milton to come back at them and when he didn't the chase was left to late. Nothing underhanded, just a small judgement error.
Well said Neigh. I have watched the videos of Milton of his last eight runs and prior to his win in three of his audacious front running tactics he got beaten.

easy
should everyone just agree with you ?
I find you simply a bully
you tried to ruin Ryan Mungers career
you tried to destroy Loopy Logic business
don't forget you said you will provide details in 1 year on another issue

Guys i don't see wat the big fuss is about the Jockey tried to go from the beginning and just managed to hold on in the in end. 50m more and he would have ben done for. No wrong doing by other Jockeys. To me each trainer advisors they jockeys according to what the feel would be suited for the horse on the day. I bet if they tried to keep up with Milton the race would not have been so close.
I saw VIVA Maria In the Woolavington use the same tactics and beat home Superman I think on the hot pot FAV Ihla Bela, so you would like to say this race was also a SHAM of a race.

I'm surprised no one is commenting on today's first race..perhaps it's a grooms race.
But if ever a horse seemed a "wunner"...this was a race to substantiate it.
Absolutely no tries and no effort of the fancied horses thinking about winning

this takes me back a few years. At school we had house athletics and then inter schools. After the house meeting we had trials to get into the school team to compete against other schools.
I competed in the 800. I shot out of the blocks and took a huge lead. The bell rang and i was about 60 metres ahead of the rest. I keep going and won the trial by about 30 metres. The other runners were pissed off because i won the way i did. Does not matter how you get to the winning line so long as its you that gets there first

Mark do u agree with me that "enterprising"rides are far and few between these days..
In the years gone by,remember Odendaal and the like with their 4kg allowance going 15 ,20 lengths clear and holding on..
Remember marwing going 25 lengths on a horse called Bedfellow for the lunns at clairwood znd landing the couple...
Why is this not happening anymore..
On the contrary striker always coming last...sometimes more than 5 lengths to make in the last 200m..and if you listening on the phone Smiley moosa would be calling him the winner..
In defence of strikers tactics having to change...I remember him saying that the pace of races in recent times have changed and subsequently his riding patterns had to change as well

It just happened! Yet our mate "Easy" cant digest it. I thought it was a cracker ride by Donavan. Most C.T jocks including myself wouldnt dare chase him as we know we would fall in a hole. At the end of the day the horse on the day was too good given a good ride. FFS, its racing, move on. Whats he suggesting, the rest were on the winner? Please, we not smart enough!!
