zo how can you compare a 2450 race at turfontein with 8 runners to a 18 horse field at greyville over 2200m?

l am happy that Al Sahem is so favoured in the betting as I fully expect him to finish nowhere. He is a beautiful mover and the odds of him being able to get a clean race to use this asset are slim.
From the 3yo point of view Edict and Safe Harbour have both shown they can handle tough races with interference so if the 3yo are well off at the weights then these are more threatening than Al Sahem.
Of course on the off chance he somehow does get a smooth run , different story, but this is Greyville , not a fair track.

and a horse called JULY DAY won on July day as well...never mind the freezing chill the collecting warmed us up that day..also backed Arabian Lass...made money that day and I think it all started with a Marthinus Minnie horse in turfontein that day

I agree with Mr Hawai here..I loved the AS and EON 3year olds, however on looking a bit more unless Mr Winsome's last run was overrated, he loves Greyville and with a weight of 53.5 kgs he must have a very good chance of winning I cannot believe his odds at 20/1, together with the other well weighted 4 yr old BA.
We should know if the Scottsville run was any good after Sun On Africa runs in race 4.

Oscar have a look at the quality of winning jocks the last 20 odd years. The weakest in that list imvho would be either Stuart Randolph or Schlechter, and they way better than Kennedy could ever be. Your choice not for me because of the pilot

Look at the names of the EPL winners since 1993 and Leicester's name comes up. There is always an exception to the rule. If there is a decent pace I expect Mr Winsome to be right there as well. It there is no pace I can't see him place.

Why compare apples with pears? Imvho jockeyship clearly plays a vital role
