Has Kennedy riden in the July before?

warren is more than capable and if you take into account that over the past 2 decades that many of our top jockeys are now abroad or have retired he is right up there with the jocks in this country at present..

Once again not a dig at Kennedy but imvho you do not take a knife to a gunfight.

The 2009 result is the only time that he has placed in the top 6 ( 2009 - 2016 ). The majority of years he did not have a ride. Perhaps he is a late bloomer.

Not for me

There is no doubt that jockeyship plays a big role. Personally, I would have been a lot more confident with BA if Delpach was on him. But that does not translate into me thinking that GvN is not capable of winning the July.

The best trainers lay a horse out for the big races.
The Conglomerate had done nothing much before last year's race and he has had similar prep this year.

Interesting that Mr Fauls analysis has him in a straight line sharing 3rd with the 2 3yos. Clearly not to be dismissed out of hand.

The handicapper got it spot on.

Maybe people can stop calling the 3 yr olds slung in now?
