That is called propping up the share price. This was particularly evident yesterday.

It wont last and gives a clear indication that they are concerned. I would sell as soon as I could if I had this in my portfolio

.....because it is the trend my friend......been on the slide all year.....then went major yo-yo when the Steinhoff saga broke....not major volumes because most individual significant holders are P execs who snapped up what ever was unloaded....should any one of these significant holders want to cash out while the share is still worth it.... it will cause a further slide....who blinks 1st.... :blink:

Its also the Phumelela AGM and clearly the propping up of the share price done to avoid uncomfortable questions.

.....the questions should be asked anyway.....not about today.....what about the time to endure before the shares can be traded....time to ask for P execs to take them back.... :whistle:

You cant unless someone has put in a notice to discuss, Had to be submitted to Auditors . So lets pray someone had and done in it time.

Phumelela needs to find someone to front around R42mil to buy Jooste's stake in the company or the share price is toast. He will be forced to sell his assets sooner or later and with bids on the shares only totaling around 15000, the open market is not the place to dump 2.5mil shares. You can see small individual investors have been dumping stakes recently but if a large investor wants to dump shares its going to be Armageddon for the share price.

.....see that the PHUM share just went through the 1700 mark.....shed almost 6% before lunch.....will most probably be propped again after 14h00.....seems to be the daily trend..... :dry:
