Blue Sage. I really like this one. Down in class & I have been told that connections are confident.

Stiff for Bondi Blue there. Had to force for a gap. If the horse was not that far back and got a clear run, different result.

I'm sure he went wrong in the closing stages - so even he survived, retirement likely

R2 Very tricky race. Last girl standing has been losing a bit of ground at the start and if doing so again then may have too much to do on the tight inside track. Moss Gas, Bally Swiss and main roll all make some appeal but an absolute lunatic selection goes to the Tarry trained Never give in. Obviously has her issues, but if over them on third run after a rest could pop up. By no means a good thing, but at the prices worth a little nibble in my opinion.
R3 Dom Zaki on USO on Sunday said Bold coast would win (it did) and said Arabian beat later in the week, so I'm sure a lot of the money has come from such comments. I however would rather the horse win with none of my money on, have lost patience with this horse and thus am in agreement with Bayern re pure blonde Not a betting race for me.
R4 Gun Fighter made initial appeal until looking a little closer. Master Boulder at 8's represents the value for me with western warrior and Hot August to be in the vicinity. (out
R5 Pipkin at 10's earlier in the week I thought represented a bit of value so it's encouraging that a bit of money has come. Varsity Princess beat a moderate field on debut and from a tricky draw has it all to do. Thus besides Pipkin another very tricky race. (field
R6 I'm glad Marco is back on September bloom and hoping she can be rewarded for consistency. Ap Chanel and Russian friend to also be in the places.
R7 Return to power's last win was extremely impressive. However I have reservations re the track. Think she may be more suited to a galloping track and therefore I've had to row in with Bright Bronte. Hoping she's the first leg of the Soma double with Tirzan in the last so back to what I feel is her favorite c/d with Weichong aboard il row in with her. Lunatic places on AP's Lilly if not just needing it.
R8 As mentioned above I'm hoping Soma can close off the meeting. The betting moves are positive and feel the track will really suit and has a lot of improvement still to come now that the penny seems to have dropped. Another with further improvement to come is inn a million. The rest are somewhat exposed and are going to have to find improvement to challenge in my opinion.
Overall not a card to get the rent money out, but only one Gauteng meeting mid week so I suppose we've got to have a go.
All the best clanners.
Stiff, one leg out of the carryover pick 6 for small money, only 5% though :S
