Its the wife's birthday next week & I haven't exactly been behaving myself. To make amends I'm taking her to Dubai for 10 days, I believe its as hot as hell there at this time of the year. How's that for the pace deciding the outcome of a race.Excellent ride by Thackeray on the biggest outsider with absolutely no form.False pace false result that's for sure but credit to the jockey on the winner.

Then again if you let a horse crawl in front and make no effort to change the race i suppose the result is justified.
