Yes. Moved to Poly. Any race with less than 5 runners may be cancelled.

its times like these as an owner where you say to yourself fuck this game as the operator abandons meetings without POSTPONING ..this has to be reviewed and the operators must play ball ...

Cannot get involved in a meeting where the entire field will run on a surface they never prepared for.
I think it is seriously time for me to start looking into overseas racing
My first race winner Tommy Grand ---- moved to all weather surface. So far this year this sire has had 19 runners on the turf -- only 1 even attempted a run on the all weather surfaces. He might like it, since he needs to run from cover - and polytrack doesn't really suit front runners. But that's just gambling.
Bedazzled - clearly doesn't run on the Poly --- was looking for it's effort on grass -- and now, expected to run on the polytrack.
Of course running at a pen of 27 is just as bad - which is why I cannot get involved in this meeting.
Race 2: The Vintage could be a star on the polytrack sprints, but will it be prepared? doesn't really look like it with the jockey choice. On The Bounce was looking for a peak effort on the turf, and might be even better suited to the polytrack.
Oligarch on the other hand would seem suited to the Polytrack - was planning a run on the Turf -- given it's last performances how do we know this wasn't just a sharpening up race, looking to drop into a polytrack race next time out - this run could find the horse unprepared.
That's the quagmire of racing with an unforseen switch to polytrack from turf - rather postpone the races or abandon them - because punter's are set to lose their money at this meeting.

The major problem here is that these horses did not plan to run on this surface. Sometimes a surface switch may have different objectives than winning a race, and the suurfaces require a different type of running action from the horse. Many turf horses can succesfully switch to the polytrack, since the traction, and amount of kickback is quite similar. The difference in running style can take the edge off a good horse, or improve a horse that is just bubbling under - it's difficult to tell what the impact will be.
Race 1: Hero's Welcome - Peak Effort last time out, might have been looking for that easy run on the turf, now will be asked for a double peak effort - may just be in need of the run - but has shown ability to win this type of race. Tommy Grand is better than we think, he bumped a very smart sort in Cool at Heart on debut - around the time that Lucky At Last, Persian Rug, seemed to be struggling. He was backed to 1/1 money favourite LTO- and there was some hint of viruses in the stable around that time - Would have been a huge contender on the turf today, but I have no way of assessing his ability over the polytrack - hugely talented though - although I would have had more confidence in him if Anton Marcus was up. Oligarch showed a lot of promise and is certainly capable of winning a maiden based on the KZNJP run to big bear. Seems to have hit the bottom of it's form curve and should now be on the up, with no question mark around surface - could be in need of a run. Bedazzled Joker and Bravo Zulu race off top marks here - Bedazzled Joker has not impressed on the poly, and Bravo Zulu has his first run on this surface. The next one to be introoduced is Nauticus - from top stable. Was backed to odds on LTO - disappointed and was rested. Comes out today with tongue-tie.

The Bosch horse in the last has given me this nagging feeling... Was fancied first time out n was scratched ... Da trainer/jock combo is good ... So maybe it will be in the one box
