Yup, rain continues to come down. All day affair. If they do race, the best horse wont win. The one who loves the mud the most will. Reminds me of that year Eddington won, think Striker rode it... Start to finish. Our giant got stuck in the mud.

I have just spoken to my old neighbour in Glenvista. He says it is pouring and there was a hell of a lot of rain last night. If this meeting goes ahead it makes a mockery of the many abandoned meetings due to unsafe underfoot conditions we have suffered the last few years
