As an aside James, have you received your apology from the NHA for their shameful handling of your "positives" case? I have searched high and low for their sanction of Witts-Hewinson and I find no trace of this.

I have received a few PM's - not quite what I was looking for but respect the fact that some people are not comfortable going public on this. I will continue with the puzzle as we go along. One thing is for sure, the capture of racing was not an isolated thing, this was very well planned.

OTA and that should be keeped that way , Send PM's rather .

At one stage a few in my circle had so much information from the top to what companies Larry owns or is a Director of , even down to when he paid his taxes .

We still have it all , maybe one day we will call ABCLeeks , But for now we keep it locked away . Safe and Sound.

Warren I hear what you are saying, but with respect have to disagree. The reason that we find ourselves in this mess is because we have allowed secrecy and lack of accountability to go unchecked. Many people are unaware of what has transpired in the run up to where we are, and those that do know are generally mute on the subject.

Let's give James his head and look at the Steinhoff tentacles when it comes to racing capture.

What do the following people have in common?

Lyndon Barends - NHA
Rian du Plessis - Phumelela
Larry Wainstein - Racing Association
Johan du Plessis - Racing Trust
Johan Roodt - Racing Trust
Dr Len Konar - NHA
Mark Currie - RA/Racing Trust/Kenilworth racing - this ones real interesting :)
Vidrik Thurling - Kenilworth Racing / RA
Chris van Niekerk - RA/Phumelela/Kenilworth Racing

There are more but we will get to these later.

Hint: The Racing Trust and the NHA are key to the capture.

Footnote : Jooste himself was on the boards of the RA and Phumelela. Its important to understand where the plan was hatched. Got to give him this, he played this like a boss. Saw the opportunities and took them.

Lol I am no expert but let's do some stabbing at this riddle

There's Steinhoff involvement in Len Konar, Johan du Plessis, Chris van Niekerk, Johan Roodt and Rian du Plessis. All of them are or have been employed in a senior capacity. Roodt interests me as he is the Steinhoff legal man. If he were on the Racing Trust why would this be as there is absolutely no reference to race horses or racing in his profile so by deduction he was placed there by Markus it would seem. Clearly the shares held in the Trust need to be protected by the inner circle.
Johan du Plessis a Steinhoff director and Klawervlei partner, also appointed to Chair the Racing Trust to ensure that interests are safeguarded.
Len Konar a previous Chairman of Steinhoff, and more interestingly was also a chairman of the Jockey Club. Clearly also a Markus appointment. An apparent corporate government "expert".
Chris van Niekerk fair enough I have no problem with him but clearly a Markus devotee and a sure vote for the Steinhoff mob

Lyndon Barends following the dots - a tame native appointed by the crew and interestingly has SASCOC in his background. The same SASCOC that gave Larry a lifeline when he lied about the validity of the Jockeys International. The same Reddy who is/was on the Racing Trust ( Gride Investments an arm of SASCOC. The same Reddy who is suspended by SASCOC for amongst others, fraud.
George Rautenbach a close friend of Jooste, and ex boss of Barends. The rumour goes that the interview of the sole candidate for the NHRA position was undertaken by Larry Wainstein and Andy o Connor, both Jooste men. As an aside OTA you should include our man Andy in your expose, seems he has come very well in the last few years . Not bad for a security patrolman.
Wainstein - what more can I add, dots not needed. Clearly put in a position he had no right to be in and is repaying the greasing of palms for this.
Mark Currie - employed at Investec and a Kantor man. Clearly there to mprotect his masters wishes. Kantor partners with Jooste in many things including Klawervlei. The Jewish Mensch amongst the Afrikaners and clearly the Stellenbosch Mafia are admirers of Doc Cravens belief that to have a Jew in the team was a lucky omen. Mazel tov.
Vidrig Thurling - shame the Viking not worth talking about, he inherited well but seemingly not in the grey matter department. Bloomberg devotee. Acts on instructions. Used as the face of Kenilworth Racing during the Phumelela take over. Clear yes man when it comes to the inner circle.

How did I do?
