Add Amalgamated appliances and homestyle group as to Rian's association with Steinhoff.

Interested to see if questions are asked of Kantor and Currie in relation to Investec's above average exposure in all this

I have many close friends who are Jewish. The term Jewboy is not meant as anything but reference to their religion and is widely used without incident.

In the spirit of reacting to objections I will change my terminology and apologise if I caused offence. Shalom Pirates no offence intended

The reason that we find ourselves in this mess is because we have allowed secrecy and lack of accountability to go unchecked. Many people are unaware of what has transpired in the run up to where we are, and those that do know are generally mute on the subject.

OTA - Sorry if you disagree , it became an obsetion at one stage , year after year building cases to take to the RA Agm only to be discriminated , bullied and embarrassed , By Wise Guys - or they thought they were wise guys.

Then we would get warnings from Nha - Hearings - loosing the hearings , legal costs R150k , it got so bad that trainers used to box my horses on purpose in a race . They play dirty these are not you normal run of the mill people .

Eventually one looks at his life, throws in the towel and goes and enjoys the "horse " without all this mumbo jumbo.

Many years ago (15 yrs ago?) Robin Bruss was facilitating on TV the duel that Larry wanted to take over the RA from Jooste, van Niekerk, et al. Larry’s motto was “bring back the racing experience” and Jooste’s motto could have been “who will control the Rx hundred million in Stakes. “ I was always surprised how Larry outplayed Jooste, et al, but it seems like, here on this thread, he crossed the floor.

.....Yehp....was one of the original concerned owners.....a group of RA members that were concerned about Jooste being on the boards of both the RA and P.....the rest is history voted to RA chairman after Jooste left the RA board.........was then coined as 'Damascus Larry by the remaining concerned owners ....because he "allegedly" ;) ..... sold out for the silver.....

Muhti there was never a vote, he was co-opted as CEO/Chairman/head honcho by the then RA board who included Jooste and van Niekerk.

The question must be why did this happen and why did this splinter the group of Concerned Owners? As OTA says, follow the dots. To me it is very clear what transpired.

M.

At the same time he had a box at Turfontien called Larry and the Lizard Lounge . How appropriate. We had a meeting once at the TBA , About forming this group, I remember there were red curtains and this man slivered around the curtains . The day I will never forget the day racing changed.
