It is disappointing to read the negatives. But that is to be expected on an open forum, where nameless cowards hide behind their computers and pseudonyms....and have the power of making any statements, anonymously. Their biggest achievements will be their attacking proper, hardworking and dedicated achievers with unfounded, untrue and biased statements, from their perch of anonymity.

Tara Laing is a top class horseperson. I would worry more about her runners when having a punt on mine than I would against some very big names.

I will support this top class horseperson and her team which includes Gavin Venter, whom I have known from my childhood. The team deserves to get horses and they WILL deliver. The strike rate may decline in the short term but will reinstate as the months go by. This is BECAUSE Tara is a top notch horseperson, one whom I respect immensely.

There is a bit of bashing which was always going to happen, but it is naive to think these trainers / jockeys are going to be anywhere near as good without “daddy” giving them the best.

Tara and Gav are both superb people and make a formidable team, I would be surprised if the win % never rose into the 20's now that they dont have to perform miracles with horses that arrived at the yard with more problems than their owner currently has...onward and upward team GT!!!

Tara, you go girl. We will support U, only because u deserve it. Because u receive horses, including from me, with issues. And u sort them and win races with them. You need no intro, praise or accolades from us, the true horsemen. Results speak for themselves.
Those who do not understand this will remain ignorant. Let it be....
